We request access to your device location for one purpose only: to calculate the Qibla direction and to determine accurate prayer times for your area. Your location is processed on your device and is not stored on our servers, sold, or shared with any third party.

You can deny or revoke location permission at any time from your device settings — the Qibla and location-based prayer time features will simply be unavailable until permission is granted again.

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to sign in, you can do so using your email address or your Google account. We use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google) to manage sign-in securely. When you sign in with Google, we receive only the basic profile information Google shares for authentication purposes, such as your name and email address — we do not request access to your Google contacts, files, or any other Google data.

Signing in allows us to save your Bookmarks and Favourites (Quran verses and Hadith) to your account, so they remain available if you switch devices or reinstall the app. If you do not sign in, bookmarks and favourites are stored locally on your device only.

We use Firebase (a Google service) to handle authentication and to store your bookmarks and favourites if you choose to sign in. This is the only backend service that processes your account-related data. We do not maintain any separate database or server that stores your personal information outside of Firebase.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking services in this app. We do not collect usage statistics, device fingerprints, or behavioural data. Your reading habits, search history within the app, and time spent on any screen are never recorded or transmitted anywhere.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or any other purpose. The only service that processes your account data is Firebase, which we use strictly to operate sign-in and save your bookmarks and favourites. Quran, Hadith, Dua, and prayer time content is fetched from public content APIs and does not involve sending any of your personal information.

You can sign out at any time from Settings. If you would like your account and the bookmarks/favourites associated with it permanently deleted from Firebase, contact us at the email below and we will process your request promptly.

This app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described above (optional sign-in and location for Qibla). We do not show ads or allow any external communication features in the app.

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
